I'm very happy with this lens. I was a little worried about talk of softness at wide apertures. It may not be as crisp, but it's still very nice. And great for portraits. I've gone through a lot of telephotos. But this one is my keeper.

The locks aren't 'used' as such - what happens is that lovers buy the lock, write their names on it, attach it to the railings, and throw the key into the river. I guess it's a way of saying 'together for ever'...
