The timing was provided by our Lord . . with the shutter lag of the A7r (which regularly drives me crazy) I would guess that the bee was still half a meter away from the flower when I pushed the release button . . .

Vignetting 2 - 3 stops corrected manually in Viveza. I have no other way of correcting the strong magenta discoloring, than converting to B&W.

I did! Actually, the thing is; when you hold your camera at arms length, and lock her eyes by establishing eyecontact, you avoid the look in the camera . . . :-)
